Website design for restaurants

Get found, look appetising, fill the tables.

Site web de restaurant réalisé par WEBI, agence web en Tunisie

A customer who hears about your restaurant does three things, in this order: types your name into Google, looks at the photos, then hunts for the menu and opening hours. If any of the three is missing, they go elsewhere, and you never find out.

For a Tunisian restaurant the site does not need to be complicated. It needs to be fast on mobile, show a current menu, carry photos that make people hungry, and let someone book or call in one tap. The rest is decoration.

What costs you covers every week

  1. 1

    A PDF menu

Unreadable on a phone, it forces zooming and drives people away. An HTML menu reads at a glance and updates in two minutes, without going back to a designer.

  2. 2

    Wrong hours on Google

A customer who finds you closed after seeing "open" leaves a bad review. And Ramadan changes everything: special hours need setting in advance.

  3. 3

    Flash photography

In hospitality the photo is the sales pitch. Poor visuals cost more than a photo session.

  4. 4

    No way to book

A permanently visible call button on mobile, or a simple booking form: that is the difference between a visitor and a customer.

  5. 5

    Total dependence on Facebook

Your page does not belong to you and does not rank for "restaurant + your neighbourhood". The site is your base; the page is a channel.

  6. 6

    Invisible on neighbourhood searches

"restaurant La Marsa", "brunch Lac 2": these are won with a maintained Google profile and a local page, not with advertising.

An example: coffee shop

A showcase site with online menu, gallery, opening hours and directions. The goal was not to sell online but to bring people in: a fixed call button on mobile, a Google profile fed weekly, and a page dedicated to the neighbourhood.

This kind of setup takes three to four weeks, and most of the post-launch work comes down to one habit: posting a photo a week on the Google profile.

Questions from restaurateurs

How much does a restaurant website cost in Tunisia?

From 1,200 TND for a showcase site with online menu, gallery, hours and an optimised Google profile. Budget 1,800 to 2,500 TND if you want online booking, an Arabic version and a photo session.

Do I need a site if I already have Facebook and Instagram?

Social media keeps the relationship with people who already know you. The site and the Google profile capture people who are looking for you without knowing you: "Italian restaurant Tunis", "brunch La Marsa". Two different audiences, and the second is the one that grows a business.

Can I update the menu myself?

Yes, and this is the point we insist on most. Prices, dishes, daily specials and exceptional closures update from your phone in minutes.

Do you handle our social media too?

It is our second speciality. See our social media management offer: content, photos, reels and message handling, where a good share of Tunisian bookings come from.
